Work then have fun. Not much is more rewarding than closing a big (or small) list of items for the day. I confess that I am kind of a “to do list addict.” There is proof that when you get those tasks completed, you not only have a lot of weight off of you, this makes afterward so rewarding. Don’t you find it kind of hard or frustrating to do something you enjoy with a bunch of items takes you have to do. I know that I enjoy naps so much more when I am having nothing else to do.
Another perk of finishing that list is you will feel immense relief leading to more happiness. Want to do something to feel better? Here are some activities to consider.
- Respond to urgent email.
- Pet your cat… or dog.
- Finish that school assignment that you have been putting off.
- Write a blog.
You get the point. Get something done and then have fun afterwards. You will be glad you did. Work then have fun.
Fun is even more fun when it is after someone big you have accomplished. Do you agree?
